ABOUT
This is the package structure design for Merkury brand’s Bluetooth speaker. It uses a closed box made of corrugated paper (E-flute) and a PE foam inner tray. During production, a prototype of the corrugated (E-flute) inner tray was also tested, and after comparing strength, ease of assembly, and cost, the decision was made to use the PE foam tray.

Structure Development
Two different inner structures, corrugated (E-flute) paper and PE foam, were tested with prototypes.
The decision was to use the PE foam tray shown below after comparing it with the corrugated tray shown above.
